The VIPBOSS 12V 105Ah Bluetooth battery stops accepting charge when its temperature falls below 32°F (0°C) and resumes automatically after it reaches 41°F (5°C). If cold protection has already stopped a charge, leave the charger correctly connected and let the battery warm naturally; do not expect charging to restart as soon as the temperature rises to 32°F.
Why charging does not resume at 32°F
The stop and restart thresholds are separate. Reaching 32°F (0°C) means the battery is above the low-temperature cutoff, but charging may remain blocked until the battery reaches the specified restart temperature of 41°F (5°C).
A simple example shows the sequence:
- At 28°F (-2°C), the BMS blocks charging.
- At 35°F (about 2°C), the battery is above the cutoff but has not reached the restart point, so charging may remain blocked.
- At 41°F (5°C), charging can resume automatically if no other protection condition is active and the charger is still supplying power.
These thresholds refer to the temperature detected at the battery. A cold battery can take longer to warm than the surrounding air, so a warmer room or compartment reading does not guarantee an immediate restart.
The usable charging-temperature boundary

For the cold end of the range, use 32°F (0°C) as the point below which charging is prohibited and 41°F (5°C) as the recovery point after a low-temperature cutoff. This model’s exact high-temperature BMS cutoff is not confirmed by the available model-specific information.
For routine operation, use the 32°F to 113°F general VIPBOSS LiFePO4 charging guidance. Do not treat 113°F as a confirmed trip point for this particular battery. Stop charging if the app reports a temperature fault or the battery becomes unusually hot, and use the model manual or VIPBOSS support for the exact high-temperature limit.
The automatic cutoff pauses charging when the battery remains below the permitted temperature; it does not warm the battery or override cold conditions.
