Add UN 38.3 evidence to the battery procurement file before the battery arrives. Verify that the summary matches the model or configuration you are buying, retain the supplier’s confirmation with your asset records, and identify who will manage any future return, replacement, recall, or removal.
Then treat the next questions separately: the approvals required for the intended installation, the operating and inspection procedures for the site, and the emergency and end-of-life processes for the battery system.
